After 24 years at 303 S. Maple Avenue, Homestretch is excited to announce that we have moved to a new home. Our new office is located at George Mason Square, and we're thrilled to be staying right here in the City of Falls Church, just a short distance from our current location.

A legacy built one home at a time

Homestretch's story began humbly, in the basement of our founder Nancy Taxson's home. Every step since then has honored that legacy.

In 2002, concerned about rising rental costs, our then-Executive Director Nancy led Homestretch in purchasing a permanent home at 303 S. Maple Avenue. It was a turning point for our organization, bringing all of our services under one roof and allowing us to support families more efficiently than ever before.

Since then, more than 2,000 families have walked through our doors ready to build a new life and future. The space also gave us room to grow: it later allowed us to open Kidstretch, filling an important gap in our community and giving countless Homestretch and neighborhood children their very first academic home.

What's next?

Now, we're ready for our next chapter. Our move to George Mason Square means we get to keep serving the Falls Church community we love, while stepping into a space built for our future.

We can't wait to welcome our families, donors, and community to our new home — and we're excited for the new memories that are waiting to be made there.

Please stay tuned for information on an open house we will be hosting in September.
